My mom went to boil eggs to make deviled eggs and as she put the eggs in the water my sister and I think we heard chirping. Is it possible for the chicken to survive the process of going to a store being bought and being in the refrigerator? If so, what do we do to hatch the chicken?

No, there is no way a chick can survive the different temps. An egg that is fertile has to be set at a specific temp, and a refrigerator is way to cold for a chicken to survive. Maybe you were just hearing the radio, a dog, another animal, or something.

Then what would have caused the chirping sound? My mom picked up the egg and it stopped, then when she put it back down it started back up.

Im not sure. You can crack the egg open and see if there is an embryo. Did you buy the eggs from the store, or your own chickens? If your own chickens, do you have a rooster? A stores egg farms do not include a rooster, just hens, so there is no way a chicken could be alive if you purchased the eggs from the store. But if it was from your own farm, and you have a rooster, there could be an embryo, but the chick should already be dead from the climate differences.

The eggs we use do that all the time when we boil them... and these are your typical white, unfertilized, in-the-fridge-for-a-week eggs, absolutely unviable. I'm not sure if it's air escaping, or the pressure inside the shell- it definitely sounds like a chick, but it isn't. I imagine you're experiencing the same thing.
