Little Giant Incubator Temperature Regulation Issues - Please Help
I had that issue also - when I turned it down - it was fine - I get 99 - perfect. Most times I checked it, however, I did notice that it would state 88 - or something in 80's at times. I would remove my 'meat' thermometer and wait for it to acclimate then test again - 99 fine - however - i am...- alscatS

Whats the best chicken and age to butcher and eat?
Thanks everyone. I have home hatched RIR, but they seem realy small at 12 weeks. We were going to eat what we did not keep, but do not know if it is worth effort.- alscatS

has anyone used a bathtub as a duck pond???
I will send pics - we have one and used it last summer, as the cold water set in the stopper, stopped working and leaked, however this spring we are setting up a filtering system - ducks are super messy -

water for ducks in winter???
So this is our first winter with ducks. And now that it will be 10 degrees for the next several days i got the heated pet bowl i heard so much about. I put the board and brick on top to keep the ducks from swimming it. Questions: Anyone keep this plugged in all night? If you do, does it melt... -

I wish I could figure out where you are getting soy free food. keep you all posted on what happens when i switch feed. i have been able to eat stuff made with the eggs just not hard boiled..... -

Let me know if you find a feed. I was recently told to feed ducks pig feed instead of chicken layer pellets, but have not looked into that and would think that pig feed also had soy in it. \ -

yes - i have recently figured out if I avoid soy, lentils and a few other legumes, life is better... I do have chickens and they get the same feed as the ducks and their eggs do not bother me....so at least I can eat half my bounty. -
