I'm planning to add perennials, mostly native to NC, to the north side of the property. I already transplanted some Rose of Sharon shrubs, to be a future privacy screen. I'll be adding some perennials in the autumn. Today I bought a couple Joe Pye weed plants.
They will attract pollinators, too.
I will add that this year's wonderful squash came from 2024 Baker Creek seeds, and the Lemon squash did well, too. But none of the lettuce seeds germinated.
