Rodents are cute but in the wild they can be dangerous as well as a nuissance unfortunately.

Set this out at night w/ tasty treats. We catch one on average every week. DH doesn't sweep up the dried rat poop so other rats smell it & think it's a safe spot to go after the bait. Sounds yucky... but it works... keep things too clean & disinfected & it won't go near the trap.
Whoosh! Been busy harvesting, freezer canning, & yard cleaning so missed a day or two on the thread! Guess I'll catch up on the synops😁! & forget all those BYC fun contests... I could get lost for days in those❣️

Put a frozen gallon water jug in the center to keep the water cool... water warms up fast in a heatwave. We just put a slow sprinkler trickle under canopy shade & it runs slow & cold all day.
