The window is hardware cloth on the inside, but has a hinged door that I can close to keep the wind out/warmth in during the winter, so that part....still clad so I can insulate it, I think... and so when it's open, the inside side is weather protected.... would a sheet and a half be enough?
Got it. Dog tired. Going to sleep. Will look again in the morning.

We have a kiddy pool. Might have to try this.

Put a frozen gallon water jug in the center to keep the water cool... water warms up fast in a heatwave. We just put a slow sprinkler trickle under canopy shade & it runs slow & cold all day.

Here's a photo of Tony because tomorrow, me and Tony are going to be having some fun. Ever since Grandma passed, bringing a chicken in the house hasn't been enjoyable since they would rather run around and you can't leave them unsupervised because they won't sit still. So I've avoided bringing them in the house. Grandma could be left unsupervised for several hours and still stay in the same spot. I hope Tony learns something from her.

A pretty BR 💕

And Hattie is so beautiful! 💞
Most of mine are a little skittish with me right now. I just didn't have the time to spend with them after we got them. We were too busy setting up our bee Apiary. I try to go out and sit with them every day now and give/bribe them with treats...lol
Yeah, that’s just great! You neglect the chooks, because you concentrate on a bunch of little bees (who will tell you to buzz off anyways)!
