When I first got my ducklings, it was new and exciting experience to me. Now that they have grown up and I have been taking care of them every day, it became a normal experience. It isn't as exciting as it was in the beginning because it has been a normal, everyday thing.

I have not incubated eggs yet, but since the chicks absorb the yolk, they won't have to eat for a day or two. After that, put them in a brooder and call your vet to see if you can get them vaccinated.

I have a duckling due to hatch next Saturday, the 13th, and I don't know if I should let the mother raise it or I should put it in a brooder. This is her first time hatching an egg.
Hey there everyone, one of my duck eggs is at day 16 and has a bad crack in it. It is one of those cracks where the shell caves in. I don't think the membrane was damaged because it was not leaking. I put tape over it just in case. Will it survive?
