Candling Eggs

The membrane is looking brown should I add the moistened paper towel, they have all peeped no where near the air cell.

It's been over 12 hours and the membrane is going brown the chicks have also pipped in the wrong place not in their air sacks. Should I intervene?

YES! Thats a great sign all those veins and the embryo is a great sign

1 has hatched with some help but the others are still hatching we noticed blood in the others so we left them

We now have two and another two hatching and there is moment in the last egg but no pipping and we are on day 25

4 hatched 1 didn't make it :-(

How are they doing Charlie? How many did you start with? I hope they are hanging in there...I am glad to see that they can hatch later .

I was given 9 eggs 4 weren't fertilised 1 didn't hatch 3 are going strong but I think we will lose the 4th it's very weak.
