How many eggs a year factoring in the wanting to brood so much (I read 180 but if doesn't seem right since I read they're always brooding) temperament?     Sounds good and all but I don't wake up early enough to feed them, I wake up around 9 and my chickens are out at around 5am. I've been trying to think of a way to feed fermented 24/7

    Mainly because my coop was not complete with nest box (was expanding old coop out) so she didn't have anywhere to sit, also since the eggs were so close to hatching I didn't want them to possibly die in the bumpy car ride

    yeah was suppose to be a pullet. was in the pullet bin, this is the second one i purchased as a pullet... I'm kind of new to chickens so I didn't really look into how to sex them and thought the feed store was going to be accurate HA!

    I THINK milk is fine... I feed my meat birds milk and corn a week before slaughter to fatten them up.
