    I have 8 week old leghorns as well, one is a roo and one is a pullet. Here is a photo for comparison. I would say roo as my pullet is still pink.

    I have just started a rooster flock with four 17 week old silkies. We separated them from the pullets about 3 weeks ago and just started to allow them to free range on Sunday.
