Maybe check what time of use plan you're on. I hate time of use.... As for the rate that the utility purchases power back at; I think it should be the same as what they pay power producers. Open market. Makes sense to me. -

We have PG&E but our rate isn't that high. We have time of use, we're on the 4pm to 9pm one. I just looked at our rates. Off peak is 37¢/kWh Peak tier 1 is 43¢/kWh. It went up in June. -

Got out in the garden today. Picked tomatoes. Pulled weeds, cut the spent blackberry canes, trained and pruned the new ones. DS and I ate 4 strawberries! Wooo! Also picked pole beans. Picked nectarines. Processed all the Santa Rosa plums and white peaches. -

Electricity here is 32¢ a kWh. 39¢ during peak hours. This is why I put in a 12kW solar array on the roof. Going to put up another one, with batteries and a generator and cut grid tie in a few years. -
