Glacier update:
last of the snow vanished about 2 weeks ago. Based upon yesterday's temps up there, snow could hit any day, making those areas snow free for 2-4ish weeks of the year.
This was on the way to work this morning...and ticked up one just before I took the pick.

Ok. Freekeh I'm unlikely to be able to find. I've had the giant zucchini/courgette before. Flavor definitely changes a bit. Good to know at least 1 dish it can be used successfully in, and a way to find more specifically for the runaway garden produce.
Oh, that does sound good. There's a couple of things mentioned in the "why I like this and variations" part that I'm wondering about. Being as Americans call courgette "zucchini" and aubergine "eggplant", what are "marrow" and "freekeh"?

Opportunities to meet face to face! Oh, that is a high priority
Sometimes by the time you get help alerted to the need to shoot, the opportunity is gone and foxes are canny enough to be listening for a commotion in the house, even with the windows and doors closed. The one handed is a "just in case" helping hands would be preferable on this.
