I would like to see the link? And I would leave them till there dry and the other eggs hatch. I had mine in a very small space and they climbed all over the the other eggs and chicks. They where fine. They are tougher then they look!
Depends on the size. I spent a week getting the temp and humidity correct. I also did a dry hatch. 30% humidity the first 18 days. Then 60% during lockdown. It did take alot of work to keep the temp stable, but moving a towel around worked well for that.
Could work fine. I just hatched silkie eggs in a old cooler with a 25 wat bulb and a little dish of water. Nothing fancy at all, no fan no thermostat. All three eggs hatched on day 21.
I just hatched out silkie Chicks out in a egg carton. Every one made it. I also only ran 30 to 35 percent humidity the frost 18 days. And got no higher then 65 during lockdown
Thanks for the words! This is my first time hatching. I'm a little tense lol they are local eggs, two where played two days before being set. One was layer that morning. So I'm hoping that's in my favor.
I am on day 20 with my three silkie eggs. All candled well during the first 18 days. But I have seen no hint of hatching so far. This is worse then waiting on my own son that's due January 28th! My boyfriend thinks I'm going crazy!
