Okay, my Royal Palm hen has gone broody on a batch of eggs she laid...unfortunately unless a wild turkey is sneaking in they are not fertile. Due to our mini jack going on a territory rampage, we lost our other hens and tom. If I get some fertile eggs do you think I could switch them out when...
I will definitely try that next time, but do you leave them on small end and rotate side to side or flat and flip them side to side? Hope that makes sense...now I'm confused..lol
I love the carton idea... it would have to be better than the knocking around the first one is doing to his buddies. Should I move them back to original position or just let it go?
I set 12 giant blue Cochin and 1 mystery egg. Plus, I have 9 turkey eggs going and 5 peafowl..we'll see what happens. Its been years since I've done any hatching. Can't wait!
I've done chicken eggs with success...but I would love to try some turkeys and peacocks. Just want to know if I can put them in at the same humididty and temp? Any help or wisdom would really be appreciated. Thanks!
Is anyone on here going and is it usually worth the drive? I'm looking for a Black Rosecomb Rooster ( breeding age) to replace one. Also, which day is best to go? Thanks for any help. I'd love to meet people from here!
