    Hi, I seem to have ants living in the walls of my coop. I contacted the manufacturer of the spray we use around the outside of our house, and they advised against using it on the chicken coop. What can I use to get rid of the ant colony without being bad for the chickens?

    I suppose... why would a predator first, go into a pen with a rooster, and then leave the chick? And again, it was clearly a puncture rather than a bite. Trust me, I don't want to deal with a murderous older bird so I'd almost rather it was a predator, but it doesn't seem like it fits the scenario.

    I'm sorry your family is not being supportive... I think I would just tell them I'm not talking to them about that subject anymore, and then stick to it. I hope you can find somewhere that will let you keep your chickens.
