ok i figured out how to post pics now just gotta get better pics of them i have 8 chicks total was told they were all pullets 4 barred rocks 2 americans and 2 buff orpintons can anyone help me and tell me if they are the correct breeds and what sex they are or is it to early to tell? any help...- mama n her peeps

when do they start layin eggs my girls are 5 1/2 weeks im guessing it will be quite some time before they lay though do they just lay on there own or is there something i need to do to help them lay? i have 4 barred rocks 2 americanas and 2 buff orpingtons!- mama n her peeps

im also wondering about grit so you say all purpose sand ,ok i will pick sum up what do you do with it do you put it in a pan or spead it in their coop new to this new mama of 8 little ladies they are 5 weeks now only on medicated chick starter- mama n her peeps

ok so i should be using shavings right now they have hay because thats what the feed mill said would be ok they also carry the shavings but they said it didnt really matter is this correct? how do i post a pic on here of my little ladies? when can they free range i dont want them to run away ? i...- mama n her peeps

thanx a bunch they are such friendly little ladys always run up to me when i greet them just making sure they are getting everything they need about how many more weeks do they need to be on the chick starter? and whne is a good age to start feeding them treats? and what is not ok to feed...- mama n her peeps
