    I raise nankins over here in Maine with no more troubles then any other bantams. they seem very cold hardy but if you have single combs the combs can freeze. rose combs not so bad.

    unfortunately call duck bill deformities are common with calls. with shows pushing for smaller and smaller bills and birds I have seen more bill deformities the biggest one I see a lot is one bill longer then the other.

    are the parents to your eggs already crosses or are they male of one breed and female of the other. if there all ready crossed then they should be sterile. if it is the first initial cross of to pure birds they they will hatch but the offspring should all be sterile.
