Hi!
I have two bantam babies that I'd like help identifying breeds. They have no leg feathers. #1 is mostly very light yellow/white. #2 is white with soft gray parts.
Thanks for your help!
Hi, I know this is an old thread. I am currently fighting the council for the ordinance change in Wylie. If you still live here, show up this evening at 6pm! I'll be at every council meeting until it's resolved!
Hi, I know this is an old thread, but currently I'm fighting with Wylie to allow chickens! Show up to your town meetings, if you still live here. There's one tonight at 6pm.
I also have a playhouse I was thinking of converting to a coop. But then I thought I could just buy a big pen and slap it over that puppy and call it a day!
Can you tell I'm over it? I'm not a carpenter, I'm just handy. I built this thing without plans, using scrap wood. I worked so long and...
I'll try to post pics here in a few minutes. I know I won't be able to find anything near what I've got now, but I'm really just over it.
I had thought about filling the inside with cement.
I didn't want to just put risers/pallets with wood on top just inside, because I wanted an easier way to...
I need some serious ideas here.
I have a coop and run I built myself. It's pretty sturdy 9x5 house with L shaped 6x10ish run. The current location does NOT have a coop foundation and I'm regretting not doing one. That being said, I need to figure out how to do a foundation in the new location...

I'm wanting to cover part of my run with a creeping plant to offer extra shade. What should I use that's safe for my girls to eat?
Meet Buckbeak. Buckbeak is a 7 week old Ameracauna. I'm worried my baby might crow.
She/he is a bit bigger than my other girls and more dominant. Please tell me I'm wrong.
I have 4 and 5 week olds. They were raised with a mama heating pad and started weaning themselves off of it a week or so ago. I live in Texas, so it's not really cold. I worried like crazy the first night, even put the heating pad out there. But they huddled in a corner together instead. They're...
Introduced the girls to their new coop! Meet Ginny, Tonks, Winky, Niffler, Butterbeer, and Buckbeak. ❤️⚡
I'm a nervous chicken mama and keep checking on them.
