Sitting back on legs, curled toes. HELP.

I am at such a loss. Someone please help and set me in the right direction. Shaggy is a 7 month old Crested Cream Legbar. Has been healthy up until this point. I found him yesterday, having trouble balancing on the roosting bar. I removed him from the coop, checked for injuries. I found...

    Guess the breed?!

The yellow dot is a trait of Barred Rock right? I was thinking part Barred Rock because of that.

    Guess the breed?!

Hey guys! Just wondering what your best guess of breed this guy could be. He came from a mixed flocked of: Buff and Lavender Orpington, Americauna, Black Australorp, Speckled Sussex , Barred and Columbian Rock and Wyandottes. He did have a yellow dot on his head as a chick.

    White Layers

Just wondering what breeds are out there for white layers. Looking for something fun/funky to add to our flock. We were thinking of adding some Crested Polish. But I’d like to know what other fun breeds are out there! Thanks ☺️

Black copper maran pullet or cockerel?

Looks like a pullet to me. I have 2 Blue Copper Marans cockerels and 1 Black Copper Marans cockerel, that are 12 weeks old and have very pronounced combs and wattles. Richard is pictured below! With the other Richard in the back right.

We often leave ours for weekend camping trips. As long as you supply enough water and food and they can’t dirty it, they’ll be fine!

    Our Egg Sign

I recently completed our Farm Fresh Egg sign for our driveway. I did it all by hand, but let me tell you - one of those fancy Cricut machines would be super handy! 🤣 I just need to add the hanging boards that say: FOR SALE (then flip side SOLD OUT) and $4 A DOZEN. Those two boards will hang in...

Do you consider your Chickens Pets or Livestock

Both. We sell eggs for consumption and hatching, and sell chicks. But we spend lots of cuddle time with them, we like to fuss over them and give them lots of treats.

    Alfalfa

We have patches of Alfalfa growing all over our property. I often pick it fresh and throw it in the runs for them. They enjoy the fresh vegetation. I haven’t thought about drying it out, but we have plenty around here that I could, and ‘treat’ them with it through the winter.

    What's your chicken's/chickens' favorite snack/treat?

Watermelon and grapes are a HUGE hit for my flock. They absolutely love them.
