Sitting back on legs, curled toes. HELP.

I am at such a loss. Someone please help and set me in the right direction.


Shaggy is a 7 month old Crested Cream Legbar. Has been healthy up until this point. I found him yesterday, having trouble balancing on the roosting bar. I removed him from the coop, checked for injuries. I found nothing. He is sitting back on his legs, with his toes curled in front of him. He can hardly walk without flapping about.

Is this Mareks? Please tell me it’s not. A vitamin deficiency? Treatment? Please, anyone

Sounds like mareks.
Someone I know had a silkie roo do exactly that and the vet treated it for mareks. He totally recovered.

Sounds more like a riboflavin deficiency; I have attached an article about curly toe paralysis - the first part talks about chicks but gets into older birds also
