Wondering if u or anyone you know has any guinea fowl males?? We just lost ours and my girls r supper attached to me but will only venture out if I am standing there

So a lot of people are sure essential oils r a necessity and I’ve read grinding up ur own herbs are the way to go.... I’ve also read that that either way may be beneficial to us humans chickens don’t process them the same or at least all of them ...
So my question is what are y’all using that...

I read guineas r as protective as roosters but I’ve also read that they can beat up and kill chickens. What’s been your experience?
I have (think ) 30 hens and if one isn’t a rooster I’m going to be needing a protector

They are a lil over 9 weeks and they r on starter/ grower(purina) they have gran-I-grit and they get corn worm and green veggies leftovers. But after reading a lot about the crop digestion and possible need...

i would have thought my girl would have gotten up and moved on her own when she was hot instead of panting in my face then laying her head back down 🤦🏽♀️ But another one did that too...
