I’m using a brand new kebonnixs incubator I just bought and while I set it by hand to have one more day than the pre-set amount of days (because I ran it without eggs for 24 hours as a test) it’s still acting as if I didn’t add a day and saying there’s 3 days left. But when I go to change it...
...picked up jumbo coturnix eggs this weekend from a local breeder, and set them in the incubator a day later which was yesterday. They’re in a Kebonnixs 12 egg incubator and we covered the center water compartment with plastic canvas and will put down a mat at lockdown also - we have a 3d...
...Pipped!
I had a “duh” moment…I set 12 eggs a day late…realized after the first chick hatched that I didn’t put those eggs in the 12 egg Kebonnix to hatch and so everything would be staggered. So I quick took all the day-late eggs out of tbe 360, them quick moved the Kebonnix eggs into their...
this is where I am as well. but I have 2 incubators (NR360 that is mine then I borrowed a 12 egg Kebonnixs incubator that the person said they didn't need it back. but I have heard such great things about the Maticoopxs and like that it can incubate upright for shipped eggs. SO tempted to...
Thank you so much!! This was exactly the information I needed. I have a nuture right 360 and the kebbonix would be for moving eggs into for lockdown so I can have several batches going in the 360 at once. This method was recommended to me since I hate having two weeks worth of silkie eggs that...
...times, but I'm desperate and don't trust amazon reviews. (:
What's your favorite automatic coop door you've used? We've been using the Kebonnixs door from amazon but the batteries completely corroded everything inside and now it no longer works (it was great while it lasted 5 months!). I'm...
#3 days to go - just removed the rotator ring in my Kebonnix incubator, and replaced the white cover on top of the internal water reservior.
Eight potentially viable chicks at this point. (as of candling a week ago)
...last several duck hatches. I am in western North Carolina so not as humid and hot as you, but still in the South. I have been hatching in a kebonnix incubator with temp at 99.5 and humidity at 50-60 for the first days and between 60-70 during lockdown. I had at least 2 if not 3 die after...
I’m not sure how to know if a thermometer is accurate or not. So I don’t know if the little mini is correct or if the Kebonnix one is correct. And if I need to adjust Kebonnix I don’t really know how to do that either haha
Try cutting some of the soft rubberized mesh like shelf liner for the platform, There is a video on youtube for the Kebonnixs and nurture rite 360 titled "battle of the incubators-kebonnixs vs nr 360"
After watching the Brinsea video it may not work. Can't really see how the turner works.
I just put eggs in my Kebonnixs incubator today. We lost power 2 times tonight. Does anyone know if I need to reset it and how? I know it's the first day so not that bad, but what if I am on day 10? Does it reset itself or what? I couldn't find anything in the instruction booklet.
Agree with the kebonnixs. I read lots of good things on`them for a cheap incubator you can find them for around $99.00 Im looking at getting one myself,
Yes, I have used (and still use) the Kebonnixs Incubator. I also have a Nurture Right 360, so I will use that as a comparison.
Both incubators have essentially the same controls and work the same way. The last hatch I did I used both of my incubators, and had about a 2/3 (70%-ish) hatch rate...
First, so thankful this site has great advice and support! I just loaded my new Kebonnixs this evening and am hatching for the first time. Wish me luck. Pics are attached.
