    Refreshing, that's for sure!! Nice not to sweat, lol. My walk with my dog was very pleasant. i had a hen that went blind. She got along pretty good, but yes put her in the coop at night.

    TSC mislabeled their chicks... I forgot what the bin was labeled, but it wasn't Sapphire Gem. Bought 3 chicks of I thought a breed of Delaware. Did research and found Blue Hen Delaware. But still really didn't match. The hens legs turned black. Funny tho, the rooster's legs stayed yellow...

    Wonderful news, Karen (?, did I remember right?) Beautiful cat and roosters. Hot and muggy here. Went to the Scrap fest in Old Town, Lansing. So cool! Sculptures all made of scrap metal!

    It was a perfect weather day to have the gathering. Met a new wonderful family. They were a delight. Vince, Irene, (?) Sophea, (sp) and Vivian (I think) Great to talk to everyone again. My pup's name is Smokey Joe. Next year, I do hope our regulars are able to make it. We did miss you all.

    I broke down and bought 5 chicks from TSC. I brought my dog there to give him a bath and those chicks are so darn cute! Went home and got my chick stuff down and cleaned out the brooder and went back and got the chicks. I had two hens pass recently.
