    Yes, this is correct! I just put hardware cloth over the doors and windows! It is done! And it works perfectly for us. They free range during the day, so this is just a sleeping spot. We just used a slide lock on the door.

    One more, if you please! I also have a French Black Copper Marans that is approximately 4 weeks old. She also was sold as a pullet but the more I read, the more I see that these are almost impossible to sex. Anyone have any ideas??

    Ahh! You guys just made my day. Thank you for commenting. My husband kept making comments about her tail standing so tall. She’s gorgeous and her feathers are almost shiny. I can’t wait to see how she fills out. ❤️

    EE gender??

    hello! I have an EE pullet that is starting to worry me a bit with her tail. I’m hoping someone could shed a little light on your opinion of whether or not she’s a he or a she?? I’m really hoping she’s still a she because she is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t keep roosters where I live. :(
