Someone once told me that only the females sting and only come out of the hole to eat,the males dont sting they are the ones you see flying around and are trying to scare you away from the nest. If you throw something towards them they will fly after it... Pretty funny!! :D
I was given two "green mutant pheasant" eggs, I have them in the incubator on day 8. I've been looking for info. on them but come up short! Is this the proper name? Also is upkeep for all breeds the same? I need expert advise please I want to give them the best care and home possible!!!

I had two chicks hatch two days ago, one is running around standing up straight and the other is just laying he wants to move around I think one of his legs is not working. This morning I woke up to a third baby that seems to be doing the same thing as the "lame" chick :( what could be wrong and...
Out of 8 babies I got one single comb. Six are 5 wks the other two are 4 wks. I'm sad I can't use "him" he is my favorite!!

sparkles2307 I read on the forum to wrap them in a wet paper towel and it seems to be working. Another is almost out and the other 3 are working hard!
