Thank you so much! I am unable to keep my ducks as their fecal matter contains fungus and bacteria and other nasty things that could and probably will give me an infection, disease, etc that would risk not only the kidney but also my own life due to my immunosuppression. It’s a bit different...

welp, it happened! I got my kidney transplant! Fortunately I was able to get my coworker and friend to take my four ducks while I recovered. I found out that I would NOT be able to take the ducks back at all post transplant, so they’re living on 10 acres here in Southern California...

Exactly how I feel! I received an anonymous cadaver kidney..! I have this deep desire in me to do right by them since they passed way too early at 30. I don’t know how long this desire will move in me, but until then I’m getting people registered!

Male ducks require a pretty hefty sex ratio, about 3-4 females per one male duck. If you have too many males and not enough females, they WILL over mate and injure your females. The females won’t be too happy either.
