Yeah, now that you mention it, it does look like the same one, but bigger/older.
:lau:gig:lau:gig:lau
Well, mine was with my iPhone. They do often run, but this time of year, the boys are more aggressive/brave and will just stand there and stare at you (like, "Take the picture already"). I...
You mean this fella form last year?
Just not sure - it's possible. There are just so many...
I miss it as well. Good night!
SO glad all has settled down! I have a LOT of birds (and boys especially) for someone who is not a breeder and doesn't sell chickens, chicks or eggs. Fortunately...
Meanwhile, the other day I had a little disagreement with this buck about whose driveway this was, mine or his. He was disinclined to move (until I had my SUV about 5 feet from him, then he calmly sauntered off...).
Urban deer. :he
Whites!!!!! :frow
Yum! Venison! So, better than last year? (I have vague memories that last year wasn't as good - or maybe I'm losing my mind. Again.)

MC, there's a really really great recipe for sourdough apple almond raisin bread here:
https://breadtopia.com/sourdough-apple-almond-raisin-bread/?utm_source=wysija&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Sourdough+Apple+Almond+Raisin+Bread
It won't use tons of apples up, but since you have them (and...
IKR?! Looking at these pictures, I suddenly don't think I really want goats any more. I can't imagine trying to keep them in... :th
Yikes! Your coop set up solid enough? :fl
Yum! Meeeeeeeeeee...... :drool

WOOOOOOOOW! Ouch.
I'm kinda ok on the rooster front, all are grown up and no fighting issues, but could do with fewer which would reduce the number of coops I need to maintain (some more jerky ones are on the hit list for after the holidays). My city came up with a new chicken ordinance...
Thank you so much - we got really, REALLY lucky, and Harvey stalled out before it reached our side of town, so besides nail biting and getting prepared, in the end there wasn't much trouble for us. So many people had it so much worse even just on the east side of town...
Glad to hear it's going well! And so pleased about your big coop. But, DANG, GIRL!!!! I thought *I* had a rooster problem...
Just popping on for a hello. Gotta finish my coffee and then chores to do - it's usually dark when I get home during the week, so I just have to lump...
OK, just finished a week read back. Wow - yeah, I'm going to have to figure out better time management or read faster if I'm going to stay on BYC...
@hippiestink: Sorry about the craziness with your customer. I missed the delivery of your baby – already cutting teeth! I REALLY feel behind now...
Just finished a big crazy period this fall - final exam was at the end of last week. I still have some grading to do next week, and some catching up on other stuff. Then holidays, then back at work, a bit of a lull before the next module I direct, and it starts all all over again. :th
BTW, I don't have a duck that stands at my feet, but here are pics of Muffin, my cuddler. She stands at my feet while I rinse the waterers, and pecks at my pants/legs if I don't pick her up promptly enough for her daily cuddle and hug. (Second one is a better pic of Muffin than me - I was trying...
Alas, truthfully, when you spend all your spare time doing the chores for the chickens (struggling to do so properly in the winter when it's dark when you come home from work), such that you aren't able to properly spend time enjoying them... :( I've got 10 coops running right now. Need to get...
It was clearly a MASSIVE mistake to come back to BYC. How am I EVER going to get down to a number of birds that I can easily care for while working a full time job with all these adorable pictures?!?!
:he

I'm disappointed that BYC hasn't added that "Like x 1000" button, so I could only "like" once... :D
They are all so lovely and happy looking!!!!! And you got a Call!!!!!! :clap
