I think I've lost my mind. I just put 86 eggs in my incubators so we will see what happens.. Im Doing each incubator different to see which ones gets a better hatch rate. That's alot of eggs to turn by hand a few times a day.. but I'm not sure what's fertile anymore... we shall see soon enough:)...
I have this young silkie pullet and I can't for the life of me figure out what the true name for this silkie is. I almost got rid of it because I thought it was a boy but i am very glad I did the squatting test and it's a female. Here is some pictures of the hen in question:
So at the beginning of this hatch I put 33 eggs in the incubator and out of all those only 2 hatched and 1 needed help but is doing much better now. There is one more egg that needed help but it's still in the bator trying to make it. So discouraging having that bad of a hatch but this is all...
i will be posting more pictures once my hatching is done :) I may have to help this one that is trying to hatch. The membrane looks really dry and isn't making progress
I've got 2 eggs that have hatched so Far. They are the SF/ee mix. They are cute. Have another one that has pipped that is in a blue egg. hatching is no addicting lol.
I am too haha. Almost all my chickens are mutts. The 2 eggs that have hatched already are Salmon faverolle/EE. they will be cute. Also have rir, leghorn, marans mixes as well. Let's hope they hatch :)
