    New Addition!

I won't put food or water in the coop part, they just sleep in there and do crossword puzzles. If you click on the middle picture, you can see the nest access. This coop is an adjunct to our main monstrosity which is semi underwater right now.

Converting those little wood playhouse's HELP,PLEASE, Poll time

Have a look at my page to see what we did with a used playhouse. The back opened up to be a window with a shelf. I took out the slats and turned that opening so it was at the bottom. Then we put an old cabinet at that opening for the nest box. For the chicken door, I did the same thing on the...

    Dumb question

Yours look like hens to me, but I am no expert. Just going by what my RIRs look like. Our rooster now is old enough (20 weeks) to not only crow, but stamp his feet and grumble at me when I pet the girls and pick up eggs. Here are some pictures from about a month ago. Maybe this will help.

What do you think of this coop?

"Sturdy and light weigh one person can move it around ( It will look urgly, and take more space with the handles ) " I love this ad! All of it! The coops are cute as heck, certainly not urgly, and hey, if they are CREWED, so much the better. Nice price and no THE BAD SMELL.

Referbished Playhouse Coop under construction (pics)...ideas welcomed.

Gorgeous playhouse! Yours is larger than ours, but here is a picture. I like having the coop elevated because the chickens have some extra space and I can reach in there with a rake with no problem. Please pardon the unfinished paintwork - mosquitoes won.

Almost finished. Progress halted by mosquitoes.

also love'n that old Yamaha setting in the growth there... Yeah. That is my husbands idea of yard art. It has a lilac growing out of it. We collect old bikes. Believe me, he would rather work on a 2 wheel project than anything with wood! Thanks everyone for the compliments! I really enjoy this...

Found this playhouse on craigslist this winter. We hauled it home in a snowstorm. Will finish up the last bits this weekend. More pictures on the BYC page.
