Hello! I have chicks between 3 and 4 weeks old. They are all doing great! They have a dust bath/grit in their brooder which right now only consists of construction sand. When should I add DE? I know I should also add wood ash and some dirt as well but it's the DE I'm concerned about adding too...
Yes that's what I meant. I have a very large brooder set up so I could separate if needed but I kind of hoped the new ones would just join right in and follow/learn from the older ones. Fingers crossed

Hi, I'm getting my first chicks in a few weeks so I've been doing a lot of hunting around for coops. I've seen so many different kinds now that I'm getting overwhelmed. Can anyone give me a list of a few of the most inmportant things to look for in a coop? We are going to have 6-8 chickens. Thanks!
