Too young for DE?

Hello! I have chicks between 3 and 4 weeks old. They are all doing great! They have a dust bath/grit in their brooder which right now only consists of construction sand. When should I add DE? I know I should also add wood ash and some dirt as well but it's the DE I'm concerned about adding too soon.....should I wait? Thanks!!

IMO don't add anything else until they are old enough to move to their permanent home. And do be careful with DE it's very powder, airborne easily and not a good thing to inhale.
