I have been looking at the New or Rare chicken breeds. My question is if only 1 source is bringing them in from overseas are we inbreeding the birds that are here now? I want the following bird but I want to also breed them.

We have a house with 5 acres in Beverly WV. We were hoping to move in October but with 2 deaths in the family that didn't happen. We are spending a quiet Christmas at the house to to re plan our next moves.
