It sounds like she has a lot of pent up anger and frustration. Perhaps she's not dealing with the pregnancy very well / her hormones are all over the place.
I would strongly recommend she sees a councellor and tries to get to the bottom of the problem. I've been to councelling in the past and...
I'm from Kent too! I live near Ashford. It's bloody cold at the moment but luckily my chickens are alright because we're keeping them indoors. We lost 8 to a fox a little while ago so we're renovating and securing their coop.
They love being indoors, they're practically domesticated now!
I'm a self published author. I did it through a website called Lightening Source (not sure of the link, Google it!). Basically it's sold on all the biggest websites and they only print when they get orders. That way I only make profit and I don't have to worry about dealing with publishing...

It's like when I feed the birds in my loft: I...

Pigeons aren't too hard to keep, you'll just need a good loft! I use a couple of places for information on keeping mine. There's a forum called pigeon basics which I like to post on, and a website called pigeons and racing pigeons.
I wouldn't recommend keeping them with your chickens because...
Just want to say hello to everyone! I keep pigeons, chickens and peacocks and thought I'd sign up to talk to similar minded people!
See you around the forum
