    Chickens killed with only heads eat

    The same happened to two of my chickens. I was told by other chicken owners that it was either a possum, skunk, or racoon that does this. They bite or snap the head off, before they begin to eat the chicken from the rear where the fatty part of the chicken is. Sorry for your loss of the chicken.

    I have the same problem you are going through with my four hens and have tried every method you mentioned except a saddle. What is a saddle? I am not familar with the product. Where can I purchase a saddle or acquire the instructions to make one. Thanks
