    What breed of chicken should I get?

    You have to work with them a little to get them tame, but Wyandottes are an good option. They lay really well and so far mine haven't pecked me. My tamest one pecks me on the back if I sit down, but she is only playing! Mine ate Blue Laced Wyandottes and are extremely beautiful! hope this helps!

    Well, if you want a friendly chicken I would try Silkies. They make good show birds and mothers. My Wyandottes are also very friendly and good layers. Hope this helps!

    I would try some Silkies. They are very sweet and have a gentle nature. They make very good mothers, too! My Blue Silkie hatched at least 12 eggs. She even adopted a baby chick that was hatched from an incubator! Good luck! Hope this helps!
