hi guys
I just wanted to say thanks for all your kind words.
My silkies egg was attached to the wall and thats why it wouldn't come out.
The hemmeroid cream actually did work and the warm water as well to relieve some swelling.
I broke the egg and drained it safely and thought she was going to...
Ok this computer keeps replacing my word I want to use with jerk - its not me typing jerk
How about pin poke - I wonder if the computer will change that word on me - anyways that was my point - pin poke the egg
Anyone know if its safe to pin prick the egg to relieve pressure?
I'm running out of options here
The swelling went down quite a bit but the egg is big
Ok I'm back
She hasn't pushed it out yet
I can tap the top of the shell with my finger
I brought her into the house
Put hemeroid cream on her and washed her area with warm water
She looks very tired
Its not bleeding anymore but she keep pushing and it just doesn't wanna seem to come out
I can...
Ok I'm running out to the store to grab some hemroid cream....but please keep the suggestions coming....if this doesn't work I think I'm going to cry
ahhhhhhh
I think the only option would be to stick my finger up there but seriously - I don't think theres room
and I'm not trying to be grose
I'm not even so sure thats a good thing to do.....
well not really - when she pushes i can see the egg form thru her dark coloured skin but not the actual egg crowning - its almost there I think but I dont know what to do
never had the bleeding bum thing
Ok my favourtite silkie
seems to have an egg stuck
I just went out to see them and shes trying to push it out but its not coming!
Her bum is a bit bloody
WHAT CAN I DO?
Kerri

Sorry I don't know about different sized wings but mine sure has ugly feet
Not sure what a gimpy wing would affect if shes just for laying eggs.

I didn't know "martha" would turn the eggs - thats even easier - save me getting pecked.
I would feel better bringing mum and the 2 eggs inside my house - put them in a comfy safe crate with a heat lamp.
My Barred Rock Roo is a character but sort of a spaz - I'd never forgive...
