Can you post a pic of the "spokes" for me. I have a couple of PVC feeders that I just built but they are still wasting a lot of food 3 days out of the week. I want something I can fit to my situation and pics help the 'engineering process'! Thanks
How thick of a layer of seed do you put in the flat? I have everything I need and actually am soaking some BOSS tonight. I was just going to give them the sprouts, but your longer growing time seems to make something better.
I mixed 50/50 thompsons water sealer with a decent grade stain. This is the same thing my brother in law used 25 years ago to paint the playhouse that he built for my niece. Her kids are still playing in it today and it has never be repainted. There is no wood rot that I can find either.
My ex used to say that she didn't like beans in her chili. I would just put them in the food processor and process them to a paste. It makes the chili really thick and adds the fiber at the same time. She really loved my "Texas chili" without beans after that! LOL. I call it blind bean chili.

Don't know if this will work, but I saw a post on a friends blog that she covered the rows of plants with wire and let the chickens have access to the area between to weed the garden for her. Just a thought if the plants are in rows.
