    I think you're right about it being a male. I was really hoping it would be a hen since it's our only chick of this breed and it's so pretty!

    Thanks, I think I'll wait a week or two than just play it by ear. I'll let them out and watch them and see how they react just like you mentioned. This whole new chicken owner stuff is stressful!! There is much more to raising chickens than I realized! Thanks for the tips!
