Breed and Gender?

Any idea what breed? Also is it a rooster? I see his comb looks a little pink. It's about 3.5 weeks old.

It is either a barred rock or Dominique...barred rock if single comb. It appears to be male with pink comb and wattles.

I think you're right about it being a male. I was really hoping it would be a hen since it's our only chick of this breed and it's so pretty!

Your first bird looks like a Dominique cockerel. Can't tell on the others yet, they're too young and not an easily distinguished breed like the Dom.
