Hello!
I have 6 chickens we hatched in our classroom. I am pretty certain 3 of them are roosters from the quick development and red coloring of their combs.
All the chickens are 5.5 weeks old. I can not tell if the lavender Orpington is a hen or rooster. Additionally, we can’t figure out the other breed or gender. These little ones are so expressive!
Any ideas?
Thank you so much!

Both appear to be pullets. And the other one could be a mixed breed/barnyard mix (BYM) if you got them from a farm or something because it doesn’t look like any recognized breeds I’ve seen. If you got the eggs from a hatchery, then I’m not sure.

I do think the rooster from the farm we got the eggs at was a BYM. I’m attaching a picture of the other chickens. There seem to be 4 who all are the same breed.
