Most docile large breed rooster?

A story on that. Rhode Island Reds are often trashed on here, both as aggressive to other chickens and to people. Several year ago a gentleman on here was hurt by those posts. He raised RIR's for show and was an APA judge. He bred his to not be aggressive to other chickens or people and they were not.

They aren't exhibition standard but I have a RIR cockerel and two pullets at the moment that aren't aggressive in the slightest and happily get along in a mixed flock. The boy in particular is a complete sweetheart. I did eat his brother for going after a broody at the height of the "terrible teens" hormonal madness, but even he was never the slightest bit aggressive to humans and only ever to chickens when it came to mating.

The breeder a lot of my other birds came from is always posting pictures and videos on FB of his cocks sitting on his shoulders or being held and petted and clearly enjoying it.
