I really doubt that this is a sour crop or fungal infection. Her crop probably will start functioning better as she recovers. Many people treat 5-7 days with 2 tsp Corid per gallon, and an additional 5 days of Corid at 1/4 of the dose, especially when one is especially sick. So, that is 1/2 tsp...
No photos of the poop, I probably should've said this, I ment that we refill the water every night so it goes on through the night and into the day, so the only source of water day and night is the medicated water, we are using liquid Corid(also have powered) the weather has been VERY warm so...
Yes, the first 3 are from the same droppings. I decided to not treat for cocci and at least monitor every ones droppings closley for a few days. There have been zero other bloody or irregular poops. I am assuming it was one of my new girls who just started laying. Everyone seems healthy and...
If you put Corid in their water, and make sure they have no other source of water, then any water they drink will have Corid in it.
I don't personally know the answer to that, but you could read the Corid package.
Or this thread might have the answer...
...or Amprolium (Corid).
You can order Toltrazuril online, dosing is on the package.
Corid you can find at stores like TSC.
Liquid Coriddose is 2tsp or Powdered CoridDose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra...
Ok good. Sometimes I have seen people giving just electrolyte water during heat spells and that actually making chickens sick. That’s another thing we can rule out. While they’re on the Corid don’t give them any extra vitamins because it can counteract the corid which works by blocking thiamine...

They are almost 6 months old. One of them laid her first egg this week- none of the others are laying yet. I mixed the Corid in their water and I treated them for almost two weeks with it bc the diarrhea never completely stopped, even though the instructions on the Corid bottle said to treat for...
Okay thank you! I have a little chick waterer, so it’s a 1/4 of a gallon I think? So I should use 1/2 teaspoon in their water if I’m calculating correctly?
It won’t hurt to treat with corid. Dose is 1.5 tsp per gallon powder for five days then half a tsp for another week or so. No vitamins during treatment. Start them on it now while you’re waiting for other opinions.
Corid dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5 days. Change it daily. You can treat at 1/4 of that dose for an additional 5 days. Give no b vitamins while on Corid. Are you in the US? Amprollium or Amprol, and Coxoid, is the equivalent of Corid.
