    just wanted to update everyone. looks like little skipper is a rooster :) the other bantam and the new Hampshire red (which we know is a hen) doesn't have combs this big yet!

    my son named our new bantam chicks gilligan, skipper, and the professor. sadly, our little gilligan died though :'(. I replaced him with a new hampshire red, which he named ginger! if you can't tell, he is a big gilligan's island fan!! lol.

    thanks for all your help!! I was mistaken. couldn't see it's toes very well for all the feathers!! it does have 4 too. I took them outside for the first time today and was able to get close-ups of their feet: .

    yes. the yellow one still has just the fuzzy feet, while the brown one has tiny triangle shaped feather on it's feet now that are the colors of it's wings. I believe the yellow has 3 toes and the brown has 4. thanks a bunch!
