I know they some times swap position, they're all easter eggers except the obvious barred rock. If you're talking about the one with that Mohawk, she must be a legbar mix.

    April 2023 Hatch-A-Long

I was going to wait until tomorrow since I just cleaned the incubator, but I turned the heat up a little and it was very dry. So in went my eggs, 1 dozen were laid 13 days ago, and the other 10 are from 2 in my flock that had issues during last hatch, so :fl Good luck to all your incubations...

    March 2023 hatch-a-long

Went to bed last night to let the little egg do what it had to do, and absorb it peace. This morning this is what it looks like, definitely took in much much more of the veining, but there is no longer that pulsating... I don't see any movement at all any more.. it might be time to break in there..?

    March 2023 hatch-a-long

So I decided from the beginning, I was going to try to be as hands off as possible, and just let nature take its course. I didn't go right away for the oil, I just kept watching it with my flashlight from outside the incubator. I told the little baby that if it didn't pop through by the time I...

    March 2023 hatch-a-long

This is all I have, it says external use only.. would this be OK since the chick might peck at it? This egg hasn't pipped at all yet. And it doesn't really look shrink wrapped to me, thankfully.. I think it looks really healthy, and I also think what I was questioning is the beak, is actually a...

    March 2023 hatch-a-long

Edit to add, I think I might hear a faint peep in there...! This is the one I cracked open this morning... the little red dot the bottom right is the little spot that bled when a piece of shell fell in... does this look shrink wrapped? Should I help it? 8:30 tonight will be bringing me into day...
