Good morning. I got a couple of hints from someone who a couple of hints from someone who couldn't keep them anymore and I'm noy sure what the breed is if anyone could help me identify them I would appreciate it.

Hello, I am just curious as to what other people get as a typical hatch rate for your Silver Laced Wyandotte eggs?
I have 20 in the incubator but 5 of those are older and I don't expect them to hatch (but I'm hoping, they're from the hen I lost to a bobcat).
Me too, these two eggs were late additions by someone sneaking in while mama was off dust bathing. I didn't remove them at first because it was hard to tell which were newer by the time I realized she was sitting on more and they were already developing.
We had a mishap and my hen that was sitting on 10 eggs went to the wrong box for too long, we lost 8 eggs. I didn't have a lot of hope for the remaining two, but I left them because they looked like they were still developing properly. Today I went in and there was a baby chirping away 😭 I'm so...

My girls are 19 weeks old and it's the 19 week anniversary of the day we picked them up from the post office.
My flock is all (hatchery) Silver Laced Wyandottes.
I did get my chicks from a hatchery, I know they are more common when you get them that way. They are from Hoover's Hatchery. I love her either way!
