I'm pretty sure he's a cockerel but I've no positive ID on breed yet. Japanese and Australorp bantam have both been suggested. Wondering if anyone might have a more definite opinion. He's 4-5 weeks old and definitely a bantam.
Thanks :) after I heard him try to crow I couldn't take my eyes off him yesterday! He watches over this lady well already cause my older hen picks on her. He's a proud little guy and I'd love to know what breed he is :)
Thanks :) they're only about 4 weeks old but he started getting his comb and waddles like a week ago. Seemed way too young to be crowing to me too but it was adorable!!
He just crowed today for the first time! I was just wondering if anyone had a clue to this little guys breed? I always get such great advice here :) thanks!
...3 makes almost a pigeon cooing noise. I know it'll be easier to determine as they get older but is there anything at this age that gives breed away to anyone? I'm still learning and any help is very appreciated! Thanks :) I can take more pics if I need to
(*the 2nd and 3rd pics are the same...
