Photo 1 - Ducks foot today
Photo 2 - after soak, scab rubbed off but still swollen. Healthy tissue underneath. No infection present. Is this going to go down? It has looked good before but healed over dark and protruding like image one.

My ducks have bumblefoot and it's stringy. Anyone have a picture of this type from when they removed it? I need confirmation I'm identifying the infection correctly.

I have been treating my duck for a bad case of bumblefoot for awhile now. Today I soaked her in Epsom salt and peeled off the scab and was able to easily remove some of the white hardened infection. After I did this I noticed a white string in her foot. I gently pulled on it and I think it is...
Two days ago. I had to remove quite deep, but there was no kernel, it was very odd. I'm scared to try again because she did bleed more than my other ducks. I thought soaking maybe would make it loosen if it still needed to be removed further?
This bumblefoot mark (healing) is still pretty large in size, but she's limping. Should I let it heal? Soaked her in Epsom salt right before this. I'm so worried, please help.
