    New flock member with scabs

I recently acquired two laying hens. One of them has scabs around her comb and her eyes have thick booger like substance coming out of them. Is this usual? Also my other 4 hens are 3 months. What's the best way to introduce them together?

I installed the chickensafe system on my coop. I absolutely love it. Works like a charm. At dusk it closes and when I get up in the morning the girls are already out in the run having a great time.
