Is it safe for adult laying hens to eat Pullet Grower Feed medicated with Amprolium?

I don't mind waiting the week or even longer if needed. I just wasn't sure if the medication would hurt my layers. I guess I'm good to go- thanks for the info!

Is it safe for adult laying hens to eat Pullet Grower Feed medicated with Amprolium?

My 15 week old pullets are eating pullet grower feed medicated with Amprolium. The label on the sack says not to feed laying birds in production. I want to integrate my flock in the coming weeks and was hoping to feed them all this grower feed and supplement the adults with egg shells/oyster...

    Black Copper Marans/Olive/Americauna

Hi there! I'm trying to find out more information on these two young chickens that I recently rescued. I was told by more experienced chicken keepers that I have a Copper Maran, or it could be a mixed breed. Both the Maran and the EE are about 14 weeks old. I adore them both! I'm just wondering...

    hens or roosters?

Hello! I bought these two beauties today and I'm hoping that they are girlies :) They are about 14 weeks old and are possibly an Easter Egger and a Copper Maran or mix. One is bearded and they are quite large for their age. They are quite skittish so I have some work to do with them, Any idea...

What snacks DON'T or chickens like???

Mine dislike pumpkin, carrot skins, vegetable peels and all cooked leftovers so far except for scrambled eggs and oatmeal (I don't get this at all, I thought chickens ate everything in sight) They much prefer their layer feed, crushed eggshells, and a bit of scratch. They LOVE their leafy greens...
