I have 42 full size hens, 5 bantams, and 3 silkie, and 4 ducks that lay every day. Come spring I will have and additional 25 RIR that start laying.- luvmychicken

Bobcat. It was over 3 to 4 weeks. I let my birds out before I go to work, it is still dark. It also pulled them through the fencing that is on my runs. I kept my birds locked up for about a week and the bobcat had to find another food source. It ended up crossing the road and getting hit by a...- luvmychicken

Hello everyone in louisiana land. I finally was able to get the bobcat problem solved. Actually it was hit by a truck on the road so I didn't have to trap or kill it myself. All total it killed 60 chickens, 12 ducks and 8 guinnea. I am just glad it is gone. Hope everyone has a great day- luvmychicken
