    Hatching eggs

I've checked and watched FB, craigslist for sometime now. Never found anything on CL around here that was very impressive. FB seems to be more trouble than it's worth. People are too hard to deal with and too inconsistent

    Ducks being strange

I've thought about that but cant seem to find anything Thia particular pond is a small generally clear pond. They usually hang around one area of it. ive tried to introduce them to the other end or even a second pond that's fairly close but no go. They do act pretty anxious though

    Ducks being strange

I have a handful of mallards a few Pekin ducks. They are locked up at night and turned out all through the day to the pond. For about the last 2 weeks they absolutely refuse to get in the pond. They just sit on the bank and stare at it. Before this as soon as you opened the pin they would run...

How do you get your chickens to start eating a new kind of food?

Mine eat whatever feed I give them. The few times I tried pellets, they were slow to accept it, but they do. Ive also never seen a reason to transition feeds. If I try something new, I give it to them when I run out of the bag im feeding from. That being said, there is one "ingredient" that I...

    Purina Layena

I have been trying the Purina Layena lately. Trying to give it a fair chance, I am now on my 3rd bag. I have noticed a few changes with my birds and am curious if anyone else has experienced the same. The first thing (and worse) I noticed is the amount of litter. It has probably doubled. I am...
